The two included drives connect directly, without a hardware RAID controller, and appear as separate devices to the operating system. Their combined raw capacity is 2TB. Mirroring reduces usable data capacity accordingly, and the file system also uses some space.

One processor is dedicated to a single account. AMD-V and NPT support virtualization hosts, including nested virtualization. The number of virtual machines, vCPU oversubscription, and memory allocation depend on the workload; thread count is not a direct measure of how many workloads can run.
Error-correcting registered memory, available in 128GB and 256GB configurations. Account for the host operating system, cache, and application working sets when choosing a configuration—not just the memory listed for guest systems.
The memory configuration is selected when ordering; changing tiers requires ordering another server. For a migration, plan data replication, service cutover, and backup validation before moving workloads off the original machine.
Run virtualization inside a virtual machine for testing and lab environments. Guest systems still need the appropriate extensions configured, with CPU, memory, and disk resources reserved for the nested layer.

Install Proxmox VE 8/9 from an image. The two NVMe drives can be mirrored with ZFS for VM storage, and IPv4 addresses can be assigned to guests as needed. The customer manages resource planning across the host, guests, and storage pools.
Mirroring uses the capacity of one drive; VM snapshots also consume storage. Production workloads should have separate backups—snapshots on the same machine are not off-site copies.
ECC memory supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis. Data and system files can be separated across the two directly attached NVMe drives. The choice between 128GB and 256GB depends on dataset size, buffer pools, and the combined needs of services on the same machine.
Separating data across two drives and mirroring them are different layouts: one separates workloads, while the other adds redundancy. Database logs, persistence policies, and recovery validation still need to be configured in the operating system.
The Tokyo data center includes a dedicated IPv4 address. Unmetered 1 Gbps or 2 Gbps bandwidth can handle outbound traffic. Bandwidth tiers describe link capacity; they do not guarantee the same speed for every source location.
Choose a tier for websites, APIs, and file delivery based on peak demand. Actual throughput also depends on the route, remote network, protocol, and application performance, so it should be evaluated against real traffic sources.
Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 is licensed monthly and managed over RDP for IIS, SQL Server, .NET services, and other workloads that require Windows.
Choose Standard or Datacenter when ordering, with English, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese. A Windows Server license does not cover other application software; those licenses must be checked separately.
Choose an image on the configuration page; the selected OS is installed for delivery. “Free” means there is no additional license fee for the image itself. The customer manages the operating system, software updates, service configuration, and data backups.
Windows Server Standard / Datacenter requires a paid license, billed monthly.
Choose a Windows licenseBefore choosing an image, check OS compatibility, dependency versions, and licensing requirements for the intended software. Linux, FreeBSD, and Proxmox VE are managed over SSH; Windows is managed over RDP. Connection details and credentials are available in the control panel after payment and delivery.
Both configurations use the same processor and base storage. Memory capacity is the difference. Monthly pricing includes the resources listed below; optional add-ons and full pricing are available on the pricing and configuration pages.
